Left (Before): this patient has a noticeable mole on the side of the nose.  Treatment options were discussed, including no treatment, surgical excision, and radiofrequency ablation.  With the ablation technique the mole is carefully evaporated to the point where it is flat with the surrounding skin.  This technique is very effective, long-lasting, and minimizes the risk for a visible scar.
 
Right (After): The photo shows the results three weeks later.  The procedure is typically performed in our office using local anesthesia.  Most patients experience no significant pain afterwards.  As you can see, the results are dramatic, and both Dr. Enzer and the patient were thrilled with the outcome.
